[Uaflug] When are LUG meetings?

Thanks for asking :)
Last year there were no regular meetings that I know of - on occasion a meeting would be advertised, but it was usually short notice so I may have attended one meeting in all. It would be nice to see regular meetings, easier to plan for.
I do have a topic I'd like to see discussed: how junk mail is handled. I have a Redhat and a Fedora machine at home with sendmail and mailscanner, although I dont' have the ClamAV part installed/running. Sendmail comes with a standard blacklist/dnsbl and my logs confirm that some mail is rejected, but so much junk comes through that it's frustrating. I'd like to know more about this: if we can prevent spoofing with routers for example, why do I see junk mail in my inbox with my name as the sender? Maybe I just don't know how to configure mailscanner :(
