LinkedIn tells us so:
William Attwood - Software Engineer at Rogers Software Development Inc

As a previous Roger's Software employee, I can attest that this job
can entail REAL programming with PHP5. I helped write an MVC
framework from the ground up when I was there. Their main product is
SuperSalon:

There are great opportunities for overtime - many people even work
weekends. You can, in fact, work from home, as I did for a few
months.

Rogers Software has a pretty high turnover rate - I only worked there
for a few months, and since I left they lost 2 of their lead PHP
developers. I'm not sure of the current state of things, but it could
be a good opportunity for someone looking for a job in a small company
who doesn't mind staying for the long haul. Don't expect to have lax
hours or roll into work at 11 every morning. You can and almost
definitely will get called in on weekends (or at least requested to
work from home on some weekends). There are most definitely very big
deadlines the PHP team must meet, and if that means working 16 hours
on a Sunday, you will be there. During my time there, I went on 2
trips to Minneapolis, so you may be doing that.

They use Linux for the servers, and MySQL for the database backend.
Unless things have changed, the MVC framework the new version of
SuperSalon is built to replicate a lot of what Ruby on Rails does. I
would recommend trying at least one MVC framework out before applying
(See CakePHP, Rails, TurboGears, etc.)

Let me know if you have any other unbiased questions - I left on good
terms, and have no personal vendettas against anyone there including
the boss.
