Hello,

I would like to know if there are any computer junkyard type places
around here too. I finally ordered one plus some ram from geeks.com
last Friday, it was shipped via USPS Priority but I am still waiting
on my motherboard to arrive! Hopefully it will be home when I get
there tonight.

Also, in case you have electronics you need to get rid of, I ran
across this from an office forward. Please note I am in no way
affiliated with the event and I have no other details other than what
is included below:

Interior Alaska Green Star will be holding an Electronics Recycling
Event in October!

October 4th and 6th at the Westmark Hotel - Noble St. and 8th Ave

Don't throw away that old television, computer, or cell phone.
Interior Alaska Green Star will be collecting old, broken or obsolete
electronic items at the Westmark Hotel in the back parking lot from
10am -4pm on Saturday, October 4th and Monday, October 6th. Households
are welcome to bring items on both days and we are encouraging
businesses to bring them on Monday.

We will need some help, so if you are interested in volunteering
please contact Darcie Warden at 978-9889 or
darcie at iagreenstar.org.
