Similar to Best Buy on a small scale.

-- One of these two stores had a good price on Seagate Enterprise
(Barracuda ES) model hard drives. The guy there didn't know what the
model numbers for the drives were, but the girl there with the pretty
voice did. Most stores around here want $40-50 around here wanted
$40-50 over the price found within the lower 48 States. One of these
two stores offered a price competetative with the online stores.
All I know... for an older motherboard, you probably found the best
place to post for this info.
Sometimes, you can find a lot of things on Amazon.com, and with a little
luck, the Amazon ships using a specialized (reduced) UPS pricing for
Alaska. Usually the item needs to be stocked by Amazon to qualify for
this pricing. Shipping costs from any other stores from the lower 48
States will usually cost $40+ (... some also want an arm and/or leg for
satisfying shipping costs).
