force and replied quickly. Many thanks!

I guess I should have clarified my intention in my original posting -  
I was/am asking for the motherboard in hopes that maybe someone had  
lying about that they wanted to give away that would get my pc back up  
and running until I can mail order (likely from newegg). It's an older  
item so a replacement for the existing motherboard and it is pretty  
inexpensive indeed, but as I plan on  doing a major upgrade to the  
motherboard, chip and ram all at once, I thought I would see if anyone  
here had something me as a stop gap measure until I could order my new  
stuff. It's so odd to be without my PC at home so I thought I would ask!

Thanks for the suggestions and offers and since we have already had  
power issues at our rental which is an old house, I will definitely  
look into getting a UPS.
