[Uaflug] Online Shell Accounts

After spending a day reviewing online shell accounts, I'm still stumped
as to choosing a good shell account. I've also viewed the wiki's, etc,
but most shell accounts listed either appear dead (unreliable) or they
use outdated FreeBSD/Unix software.

What I want in a shell account:

1) It uses a standard/"well known"/"well worked" Linux Distro (ie.
Gentoo ;-), or at the very least, Debian)

2) The organization has been present for a period of time (indicating
stability and future presence).

3) The possibility of being able to host svn (Subversion) projects (as
well as the normal email & web space).

In the long run, I would always start-up my own non-profit org. But I
got a funny feeling, messing with the houses electric lines and having
servers present w/i the same house seems like a not-so-good idea! (Of
course, there's always battery b/u!)

I've also spent a day getting my hand dirty in SDF's server loaded with
legacy gcc, etc.
