Looking at my usage on my router, around 5-10GB total per month is what
I use. Watching some streaming video (ie. NASATV, Gentoo Portage
syncing, ...) and no music/pr0n downloads. So, if you've got caps out
there, 200GB sounds reasonable! The exclaimed 3-5GB caps by ISP's w/i
the last months would be a crying joke & causing most people to pay for
unlimited service anyways.
Yea. Those bandwidth increases within the last 5 years in the lower 48
have basically left Alaska bandwidth rates in the dust.
Of the two, think ACS is probably more fairly priced compared to GCI's
capped service.
And yea, there's nothing on cable TV anyways. Over-the-air TV is just
fine for me. PBS/TBN seem pretty good especially if ya got kids.
