http://sdf.lonestar.org/ might be a good start. One of the most popular
and long standing non-profit organizations (from what they say).
>From what I've seen concerning secondary providers for Cable or ADSL
service, the (telephone/cable) company providing primary access to the
service is going to charge a base rate, which usually is not as cost
effective as buying the services directly through the Telephone or Cable
company!
Especially here in Alaska.
Usually, these secondary providers do better within geographies covered
with multiple service providers, and the secondary provider is usually
omitting almost all profit in order to increase customer interest &
sales.
