LUG Lecture Series

Hi all,
    I will be gone from Oct. 25 thru Oct. 31 to a conference, and will
plan on giving a presentation shortly after I return. I've tenatively
selected Thursday, Nov.13 at 1 p.m. for this.
    I also asked Shawn Houston about giving a general talk on networking.
Shawn suggested that I poll the group about scheduling and the coverage
desired.
    Please respond to me directly (at dnc@gi.alaska.edu , or
covey@linux0.cs.uaf.edu) with any response on the following :

 - what day of the week is most convenient for you to attend a networking
    presentation, given that we'd like to schedule it for the lunch hour or
    at the end of the work day (5 p.m.)?

 - which of the topics are of particular interest, among DHCP, wireless,
    bridging/routing, IPtables, or other networky things?

Let me know your preferences and I'll put together the schedule ASAP.
