Now that I have a car, I can come to meetings..

Understand about the wireless, but would be interesting to see.

2.4GHz, is there other forms that are good for wireless, or we stuck
with it? Is 2.4GHz like microwaves or what? Masers? Is it just basically
radio, or is it directed? 

Sorry, been out of the loop some of late..  I live out in North Pole, so
a wireless network would be good for me, if anything to test distances?
Or would I have to find a sattelite dish that some one is not using, or
build one? 

If anything I have a Belkin Internet/Wireless Router for use. If
anything so I can figure out how to use it.
