Most equipment that retires from ARSC goes to the University's surplus
warehouse. It is then either transferred to another University department
or placed for the annual public auction.
On the matter of retiring ARSC equipment, we'll have some SGI R5k and
RM5200 O2s that will be going to surplus soon. I'd be interested if
their was any interest for developing a mips-based cluster in the group.
