UAFLUG: Please read, very important

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

Attention Everyone:

I need to clarify a few things and make some revision to my earlier message.

(1) I am asking about membership in the LUG and not about continuing subscription to the list. You need not worry about having your name taken off the mailing list unless you explicitly ask for it to be taken off. In which case, I believe the unsubscribe instructions are on the LUG's website http://linux0.cs.uaf.edu.

(2) I am only asking about "official" members. If you are not a student, you cannot officially join the LUG. However, this does not mean that you cannot still participate in club activities. Please feel free to contact either me or Justin Burket if you have any questions regarding club membership and participation.

(3) For those of you who wish to keep/start your membership in the LUG and are eligable ( see 2), I ask that you email me directly with the following information as it needs to be included in the official paperwork:

     - First, Middle, and  Last name
     - Email Address
     - Phone Number
     - Student ID number

When emailing me, include "membership info" in the subject line so that I can easily filter your request. I will send a confirmation email to let you know that you have been added to the official membership list.

IMPORTANT: EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY POSTED TO THE LIST STATING THAT YOU WANT TO CONTINUE/START YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND YOU ARE ELIGABLE, YOU STILL NEED TO EMAIL ME THE ABOVE INFORMATION SO THAT I CAN INCLUDED IT IN THE OFFICIAL PAPERWORK.
