Re: [lug] Com/LPT port

I'm fairly positive that is a printer sharing device. The LPT is a
give-a-way. However, the Carr Det is interesting.

The Logical Connection's had a light for RTS/CTS, but I don't recall
a CD. Maybe a serial printer sharing device?? Hmm. In the PC
world, the Parallel devices used female jacks, and serial used male
jacks.
Have you done an internet search for any info on that?

Not sure what you are asking about the PCMCIA USB stuff.

PCMCIA is the little credit card device that plugs in, USB is
normally a port on the back of the laptop or desktop.

If you are asking about a PCMCIA card that would have a USB port, I
don't know. Check Warehouse.com or something.
