I'm no expert at anything by all means, but I believe that many
administrators like to have cgi scripts to belong to nobody and broup
nobody. Many times nobody is the id running the webserver if I remember
correctly. And I believe I logged in just fine with the guest as username
and password. Did you fix it already?
