RE: animation pre-data



Like it matters with this damn Firewall.  Things might be different over at 
the Geophysical Institute, but in the dorms it seems we can't run ANY type of 
internet service at all.  I was looking forward to setting up my own httpd 
with a webcam view out my window (the view out of the halls near the Residence 
Life office is nice), and other things for friends and family back home.  But, 
it seems this is not possible with the firewall in place.  I e-mailed Rasmuson 
DC&C to ask them if they would open up port 80 (default http port), we'll see 
if they respond.

Hmmm...

p.s. - Anyone know what type of firewall system they use?
