You (or whoever runs that box) could also mirror FreeBSD from 
<ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/>.
If you just mirror everything but the packages, it shouldn't be more than a 
few hundred megs.  If you have a gigantic hard disk, you could mirror NetBSD 
and OpenBSD as well...
