The middle of February sounds great. I'll be glad to take a look into
getting a network drop at the tables, when i get back at the tail end of
january. Are we all agreed that Wood Center is still the best place to
hold an installfest? I like it.

Now that we have a fair bit of demo-ing experience under our collective
belts and garters (2 installfests, TechnoExpo, Macintosh user's group
demo...), we've got what it takes to make this one a good one. I think
with better advertising, particularly outside of the UAF community, and a
better effort at slinging together a good demo machine (Thanks to Dave in
the past for providing his super slick box!). For instance, we could have
a bunch of the 'killer appz' running on virtual desktops, all the time, so
we can demo them at will. (I'm talking about Wordperfect, the GIMP,
Netscape, and such, not the _real_ killers, like LyX and gcc {and grep,
and vim, .....} )
